What I WANTED to reply was that I am fully aware of what comic relief is and is meant to do, so his definition is not necessary. Or his second definition to defend his first definition.
I also want to ask him why, if he doesn't think anything is wrong with Jar Jar as he states in his response, then why exactly does he refer to JJ Abrams as Jar Jar Abrams, which is clearly meant to be derogatory?

So...Darth Maul is alive and we just never see him through 5 other movies? The emperor abandons him instead of putting him back together like he did Anakin? This also means that the emperor is not dead.
If you go by the books, I believe the emperor had clone bodies awaiting him (but I could be mis-remembering the books (which I believe are no longer canon) and to find out about the fate of Darth Maul you'd have to watch the cartoons.
That's a fair statement. I know the books and the cartoons have more info. But in regards to the series of 6, now 7. movies, as standalone works...they both died. Right? That's why the Empire fell after Jedi, and we have the First Order and all that now. Because no emperor.
