I don't find bisquick sausage balls particularly appealing.

If these grew up into Omicronians it would be awesome though.

I was never interested in all the toy reviews and wrestling news.  I made an effort to invite Luke to consider reporting on other kinds of nerdiness and I got told off.  I regret nothing.

The weekend threads and the humorous content were what kept me reading the site. The weekend threads suck now and the humor died a long time ago. The daily groaner puns are not humor.

My final is due tomorrow by 6 p.m.  Since it's a 2-hour test, I will be taking it tonight.  It's a little annoying that it's due so early, because technically the course runs through Saturday the 31st.  But I'm also happy to get it out of the way and that gives me almost 2 weeks of no class (we get a week's break between semesters).

2 Weeks of no class? So that's half a month of making lewd comments and dirty jokes?

As opposed to what I'm doing now?

If you're doing it with class, then it's ribald comments and risqué witticisms.

Wow, has that show still not premiered? I recall watching the pilot months ago when it leaked, and it feels like most of the fall season has started up already.

rkwsuperstar wrote:A friend of mine hosted a birthday party for 2 of her friends.  It was Halloween themed and we were supposed to dress up.  Well, I dressed up, and the 2 birthday girls, and their husbands.  That's it.  So that was fun.  Of course, the 2 ladies were in slutty costumes, and every time they bent over, their asses were flashed.  They had their children in attendance, most in the 20s, so I'm sure their kids enjoyed seeing that.  My friends jammed in the backyard, it was nice.

However.  Yet another man-jerk situation.  Some of you may remember about a year ago, I mentioned that my friend Brady passed away when his brain cancer came back.  One of his friends was at this party.  Not someone I was very close with, but we'd all sort of hang out together.  We talked about Brady a little, but most of our conversations were with the group.  We were never alone and I was in no way flirting with this guy.  However, this guy seemed to be unaware that I knew his girlfriend (she's Coworker) or even that I knew he had a girlfriend at all.  At one point in the evening he asked if he could kiss me (we were in a group playing cards against humanity, and he just leans over to ask me this).  My answer was no.  I didn't say anything about knowing his gf.  I don't want to open can of worms with the chick I have to work with.  So, I've decided it's gotta be me.  I'm doing something that I don't realize that makes these jackasses think I want to hook up.  Of course, I don't know what it is, so I don't know how to stop doing it.

This could be a case of negative behavior making more of an impression than neutral or positive behavior. The guys that don't hit on you aren't likely to leave a lasting impression afterall.

Here is one that was on when I went for lunch. It sounds like Popeye singing.

It sounds a little familiar, but I may be imagining it. It also sounds like Donald Duck (that blustery quacking he does) for a bit in there.

I wouldn't let that stop you. I lived 10 minutes from Fort Worth and had the whole DFW area under an hour away, but I ended up falling for my wife in Stephenville. Well worth the drive.

Not sure why that's the case. You're attractive, funny, smart, and fun to be around. Maybe you should hit a dating site. It says date in the title. So that should solve the being asked out part.

You know, I live in a small town, and it's a 45 minute drive from the nearest large town. I may give it a go anyway and see what happens. I'm sure not going to meet anyone at Walmart.

It's not even so much that I'm not getting asked out. It's more of the not getting asked out, but getting asked to briefly hook up that is bothering me.

I don't think you're doing anything subconsciously to attract creepers.  You're just demonstrably single and attending events where single people go to "hook up".

I hope you don't let that let it get you down.  Come to DFW sometime and me and Patch have will buy the beers.[/quote]

There were about 3 other demonstrably single dudes there, and they wanted nothing to do with me. So it's got to be more than just that. It's not really getting me down, but it's starting to piss me off a little.

Ha, no. That guy is the husband of the one who put on the party. It was a joke about us playing games after his wife went to bed. She loves to play games, and she missed out. It's a super creepy post if you don't know the in-joke.
